Ever go out on a long walk or jog and wonder how many miles it was? Or want to take a different route but make sure it's a certain distance and terrain? Well, there are a few websites that can help you out with that.
MapMyRun, USA track and field and runningmap all let you plot a route while they measure the distances and elevation along the way. You can create a profile and save routes or look up routes that others have saved in your area. It's nice to get into a routine with your workout, but sometimes taking the road less traveled can give you new motivation. The change of scenery will keep you occupied while you move and having a set distance will help you focus to finish.
